Is it a good idea to buy DEMO tyres?

A DEMO is a tyre that has been taken from a new car and has travelled a few miles at most.

For example, perhaps a batch of new cars is equipped with summer tyres, but destined for a country where they will be sold with snow tyres, or another brand according to agreements between manufacturers.

A DEMO tyre sells between 5 and 20% cheaper than a tyre that has never been fitted to a car.
