NanoPro-tech™

The distribution of silica in the NanoPro-tech™ rich compound is perfected by the innovative mixing technology. Profile and compound blend incomparably to optimise grip on wet road surfaces.

3D CTDM (Optimised Design)

3D CTDM is Bridgestone's automated technology for optimising tyre design. This program is a true revolution, relying on both dynamic 3D simulations of the tyre and an analytical exploration of all the points affecting its performance. For front tyres, the patterns are designed to maximise stability at high speeds and to reduce vibrations as much as possible. On the rear tyres, the patterns are conceived with greater negative ratios to provide maximum grip and stability in corners. The ultimate goal is to achieve handling that is both effective and light in tight curves. Grip is also enhanced by lateral stiffness, while maintaining a constant contact pressure for any angle of inclination ensures driving flexibility.

3LC (Stability and Grip in Corners)

Bridgestone is advancing technology in rubber compound composition. The 3LC technology consists of a dual-layer of hard compound at the centre of the tread and a softer layer at the shoulders. This achieves maximum stability during braking, optimal grip in curved trajectories for any lean angle, and the ability to achieve higher mileage.

CAP&BASE (Optimal grip throughout the tyre's life)

While at the top (Cap), the softness of the compound ensures fantastic grip, the hardness of the inner compound (Base) guarantees ideal rigidity to the tyre. The tyres never show signs of grip loss even after tread wear because the hard compound cannot come into contact with the ground surface.

Handling in All Conditions (HTSPC)

Bridgestone's innovative and unique HTSPC technology features 5 steel monofilaments that are wound into a single spiral belt. Evenly distributed and insulated within a rubber layer to even out tension, these steel filaments provide excellent tyre stiffness. The uniformity of contact pressure ensures optimal grip on both dry and wet surfaces, and unparalleled manoeuvrability. Protected from oxidation by the rubber and reducing heat production, these monofilaments lead to more consistent tread wear and ultimately increase its mileage.

HVF (High Velocity Fluid Drive)

Bridgestone has developed a next-generation technology named OBF to ensure perfect shock absorption and optimal vehicle stability at high speeds, thanks to significantly improved rigidity. This technology is applicable to both sport and touring tyres. The patent is currently in the homologation phase.

RC POLYMER (Enhanced Road Contact)

By distributing silica molecules in the rubber compound in the best possible way, RC Polymer technology enables improved contact with the road surface in all weather conditions, due to the increased flexibility of the tread. Another advantage is the reduction in fuel consumption, which is achieved through lower rolling resistance, allowed by reduced molecular friction.

HMT (Higher Mileage)

Emerging from Bridgestone's research and development labs, the SACT technology cleverly combines two rubber compounds. This bold combination enhances wear resistance in standard straight-line driving and provides effective grip in curves with its reinforced shoulders. The SACT technology ensures wear according to driving, improved traction, and greater mileage. What could be better for sporty drivers than a satisfying quality/price ratio for impressive mileage?

SACT + CAP&BASE (Reliable in all weather conditions)

With SACT technology, the tread enjoys increased longevity in its central part and enhanced grip on the shoulders. The tread becomes even more rigid thanks to the Cap & Base inner layer, which undoubtedly increases the damping capacity and grip under any conditions.

SILICA RICH (Better grip on wet ground and in cold weather)

By increasing the silica content in its compound, Bridgestone provides improved wet grip for the rear tyres, which results in better handling and enhanced safety.

SILICA RICH EX (Optimal grip for your front tyre)

With a higher silica percentage, the Silica Rich EX compound provides the front tire with exemplary wet road performance. Arranged with RC Polymer technology, enhancing the effects of silica and offering increased tire lifespan.

GP-BELT

The GP-BELT features an additional belt compared to the Mono-spiral MS-BELT, ensuring a uniform distribution across the contact area with the road. It provides more grip in corners and significantly increases control.

3LC + Cap and Base

Tread and shoulders gain in longevity and grip thanks to 3LC technology. As for the underlying Cap & Base layer, it provides increased tread stiffness, synonymous with remarkable reinforcement in terms of grip and shock absorption for high-performance handling in all seasons.
