The Primacy 5 summer tyre is designed to last longer while maintaining an excellent level of safety. It offers an 18% increase in mileage compared with the previous model, to better meet longevity requirements.

With MaxTouch technology, the contact patch is optimised to evenly distribute the stresses linked to acceleration, braking and cornering. This design promotes more even tread wear, without compromising performance. Its new patented rubber compound also improves abrasion resistance, helping to extend the tyre’s service life.

Long-lasting safety on wet roads

The MICHELIN Primacy 5 tyre was developed to deliver a high level of safety on wet roads. When new, it reduces braking distance on wet roads by 4% and, once worn, it maintains performance comparable to that of the Primacy 4+. This consistency enhances everyday peace of mind.

Rated “A” for wet grip under the European labelling system, it incorporates MICHELIN EverGrip and MICHELIN EverTread technologies. Thanks to an optimised tread pattern and a reworked tread, water evacuation is improved to maintain effective braking throughout the tyre’s service life, while preserving longevity.
