Optimised performance on wet roads

Grip on wet roads as well as on fresh snow is optimised thanks to grooves designed to efficiently evacuate water and slush. The Season Sense 1.0 compound helps to increase tyre longevity while improving its overall performance on wet surfaces. This composition is suitable for a wide temperature range and maintains its level of performance, including in cases of significant wear and in high heat.

Controlled safety in all seasons

The Season Sense concept was designed to offer versatility for year-round use. It guarantees consistent safety on wet and snowy roads, while ensuring stable, comfortable handling on dry roads during the summer. This design is based on the combination of three complementary technical solutions, applied to the siping, the tread pattern and the composition of the rubber compound.

Wear indicator for accurate monitoring

This tyre features a wear indicator (DSI) that makes it easy to see when it needs replacing. Numbers on the tread show the remaining tread depth in millimetres and disappear as the tyre wears. To maintain a suitable level of safety for winter driving, it is recommended to keep a tread depth between 4 and 5 mm. The snowflake symbol remains visible down to 4 mm; when it is no longer visible, this indicates that the tyres need replacing to maintain safe driving.

Enhanced grip on snowy roads

The snow studs positioned between the tread blocks ensure good grip and contribute to stable driving in winter conditions. They work during braking as well as acceleration to optimise traction on snow and on slippery roads.
