Tyre Mounting Steps

Installation of new tyres

The old tyres are carefully removed from your rims using specialised equipment. The new tyres are then precisely mounted to ensure they are properly positioned and secured on the rim. This step is crucial to guarantee a correct installation that maximises tyre performance and ensures your safety on the road.

Wheel Balancing

Each wheel is placed on a balancing machine that detects imbalances. Specific counterweights are then added to distribute the weight evenly around the rim. Good balancing reduces vibrations during driving, improves comfort and extends the lifespan of the tyres by preventing premature wear.

Valve Replacement

The rubber valves are systematically replaced, except for electronic models. A valve in good condition ensures optimal sealing, prevents air leaks and maintains the tyre pressure at an ideal level, which is essential for the safety and energy efficiency of the vehicle.

Pressure check

The tyre pressure is checked and adjusted according to the manufacturer's recommendations to ensure a safe and fuel-efficient drive. A pressure check is also carried out on tyres that are not replaced, thus ensuring that all wheels meet safety standards.

Wheel tightening

The wheel nuts are tightened with a torque wrench to meet the manufacturer's specifications. This ensures that the wheels are secured with the correct torque, minimising the risk of loosening and ensuring maximum safety during driving.

Final Inspection

A full visual check is carried out on the vehicle to ensure everything is in order after fitting. This includes examining the tyres, rims and visible components of the suspension to detect any potential issues that could affect performance and safety.
