Description

Nokian Seasonproof tires ensure very good durability, better performance, and low rolling resistance to achieve fuel savings and be more environmentally friendly. They offer drivers perfect safety throughout the year, especially on snowy roads and in the rain.

Nokian Seasonproof tyre technology

Advanced Traction and Control

Equipped with a new tread pattern and a central area connected to the tread block, it ensures improved performance regardless of weather conditions, reduced braking distances on both dry and wet roads, and better grip.

Tyre wear indicator

Equipped with a wear indicator (DSI) designed to inform the driver when to change tyres, the Nokia Seasonproof tyre ensures safe driving in winter. Indicating the remaining tread depth in millimetres, the number will gradually disappear as the tyre wears down. To ensure perfect safety while driving in winter conditions, ideally, the groove depth should be between 4 to 5 millimetres and to maintain reliability and driving safety, the disappearance of the snowflake prompts you to change the tyre.

Concept Season Sense

Integrating three technical advancements in the design of the sipes, tread pattern, and rubber compound, the Season Sense concept ensures optimal performance throughout the year and maximum safety on snow and rain. We have developed custom multifunctional sipes and directional tread patterns. The new "all-season" groove in the tread pattern allows for the evacuation of water and mud, while the new silica-enriched rubber compound guarantees exceptional durability, superior wet grip, and low rolling resistance, thus facilitating driving on wet and muddy surfaces.

Better grip on snow

This winter tyre is equipped with studs between the tread blocks to provide strong grip and a stable driving feel. During acceleration and braking, the studs can effectively grasp the snowy surface as well as any type of soft terrain for increased safety.
