Optimised shape for connecting smaller blocks to a more solid foundation: winter performance can not only be improved, but drying performance can also be optimised through the sipes that can be interconnected. Like the Vector 4Seasons Gen-1, it is equipped with 3D sipes and, thanks to the self-locking effect of the tyre movement, it exhibits overall stiffness and good handling. The tyre stiffness is even greater from the middle of the shoulders, thus, even if there is wear, the tyre always offers the same response.

Compared to the Gen-1, the Goodyear - Vector 4Season G2 has a wider profile and can make contact with the ground over a larger surface area, thus providing effective grip on cold roads.
SmartTred Technology: Given that plasticisers can alter the mechanical properties of rubber at different temperatures, this is a compound that makes the rubber more elastic. The tread stiffness remains the same in all weather conditions, making it an excellent all-season tyre. The hydrodynamic grooves arranged in a "V" shape (directional profile) reduce the risk of aquaplaning and offer a safer drive.
